Doctor of psychology, author of many scientific articles and book publications, as well as numerous presentations at national and international conferences. Lecturer in psychology at the University of Łódź, University of Music in Łódź, the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, Warsaw Management University and Collegium Humanum.

President of the Foundation for Socio-Cultural Innovations, creator and coordinator of over 50 cultural and artistic projects. For his work in the field of cultural animation, he was twice awarded the Prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

For many years the director of EDUKINO Educational Film Festival. Producer of educational films used in educational and upbringing projects.

Implementer of educational projects using film to develop historical and cultural competences and to promote healthy lifestyle.

Information on Foundation activities

Foundation for Social and Cultural Innovation has been operating since 2005. It was registered in the National Court Register on May 11, 2005. The main areas of the foundation’s activity are culture and education.

Foundation:

  • Develops and initiates innovative socio-economic and cultural solutions, with the perspective of disseminating them widely.
  • Develops and tests innovative solutions for the development of physical culture and sport.
  • Supports the education of youth and adults towards greater innovation, creativity and collaborative skills and attitudes.

Foundation carries out educational and socio-cultural projects, predominantly based on subsidies from state and local government institutions.

The largest, cyclical projects implemented independently by the Foundation for Social and Cultural Innovation in the last decade are the following:

Educational Film Festival „EDUKINO”

The project has been implemented since 2011 until now. The aim of the project is to promote film as an effective tool in education as well as selection and promotion of the best short films combining educational ​​with artistic values. Yearly editions of the festival were implemented on the basis of grants from the Education Office of the City of St. Warsaw, and recently – from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. For two years now, the festival has been international. The festival broadens the perspective of recipients and helps them get to know the world and people so, that phenomena, challenges and problems faced by people in different places in the world become closer and more understandable to them.

The main prize of the festival is the Golden Copernicus, awarded in categories depending on the theme of the festival. The national festival (3rd-11th edition) used to be granted The Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

Art In Architecture Festival

The project has been implemented for four years now with the support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The aim of the festival is to promote art in architecture and encourage architects and interior architects to actively cooperate with artists. The festival aims to influence the tastes of investors, which should increase the number of new, beautiful, art-rich architectural objects.

The main prize of the festival is the Golden Leonardo awarded in the following categories: apartment / house, office, public space, hotel.

Training of Winners

The project has educational and training aspects. It teaches and encourages young people to practice activities which build the character, habits and skills necessary to fully develop possessed talents and predispositions, maintain good health and be fit, and to have a successful life. The project involves extensive testing of training participants and research on the effects of activities undertaken.

The project was implemented – with the support of the Ministry of National Education and the Education Office of the Capital City of Warsaw – in over a dozen post-primary and primary schools in Warsaw and Mazovian District.

In recent years, the Foundation has also implemented several minor projects, mainly for school children, some of them based on grants from the Capital City of Warsaw:

  • Effective learning – grant from the Education Office 2015
  • How to defend oneself against hate – grant from the Education Office – 2015, 2016, 2017
  • Use of film narration in historical education – grant from the Education Office 2018, 2019
  • Developing historical competences with the use of educational film – grant from the Education Office 2019-20
  • Life during a pandemic – grant from the National Center for Culture, 2020-2021 (young people made short films showing on-line creative activities undertaken in their environment in response to the emergence of COVID)

The Foundation pursues only its statutory goals.
